Jurickson Bartholomeus Profar is a Curaçaoan professional baseball infielder and outfielder for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played for the Texas Rangers and the Oakland Athletics.

Profar signed with the Texas Rangers on July 2, 2009. Other teams wanted to sign Profar as a pitcher, but the Rangers signed him as a shortstop, his preferred position. Jurickson helped lead the team to the championship game again in 2005, but this team lost to West Oahu Little League from Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
