Vanessa Guillén, a fellow soldier, went through training to become a 91F, Small Arms and Artillery Repairer. According to I Am Vanessa Guillen, Robinson and Guillén periodically collaborated at Fort Hood as a result of their military engineering positions.

Robinson, who was questioned at the time but disqualified as a suspect, was one of the final individuals to have seen Vanessa Guillén on the day of her disappearance.

Following the discovery of Vanessa Guillén’s severed remains buried by the Leon River on June 30, 2020, Robinson was arrested at his unit for breaking COVID-19 quarantine regulations.

According to I Am Vanessa Guillen, Robinson allegedly got in touch with 22-year-old Cecily Aguilar and said, “Baby, they discovered pieces. Robinson ran away from his Fort Hood unit after learning that Guillén’s remains had been discovered, leading law enforcement on a pursuit. Early on July 1st, as police attempted to apprehend Robinson, he shot himself in the head.
