Noopur Raje, MD, of Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, says her hospital is able to care for 20 to 30 percent of their cancer patients with telemedicine. But she said telemedicine does have drawbacks, including having to discuss serious illnesses with patients over video and highlighting the digital divide.
